With over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 5 years as a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, Sakeena Anderson, NP-C, has built a career rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and patient advocacy. Her journey in healthcare has spanned a variety of settings, from acute care hospitals to outpatient clinics, where she honed her skills in both routine and complex care. This broad experience has given her a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients across the lifespan. As a Nurse Practitioner, she brings not only clinical expertise but also a strong commitment to listening, educating, and supporting her patients through every stage of their health journey. Sakeena believes that empathy is just as important as medical knowledge, and she strives to create a trusting, respectful environment where individuals feel truly seen and heard. Grounded in compassion and clinical excellence, she has led high-performing teams, improved care delivery systems, and mentored nurses at all career stages. Her leadership roles have focused on optimizing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advancing quality patient outcomes. In recent years, she embraced telehealth to expand access, enhance care coordination, and bring a human touch to virtual care - believing that technology should support, not replace, the art of nursing. Driven by the belief that every patient deserves to be heard and respected, she leads with integrity, empathy, and a deep commitment to lifelong learning and innovation in nursing.
